Some people think that zoos are cruel and should be closed down. Others believe that zoos are useful for protecting rare animals. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Zoos are there in many places, but people have different thoughts about them. Some say they are cruel and should close, while others think they help rare animals. I will discuss both views and give my opinion.

People who don’t like zoos say it’s bad for animals. They are kept in cages, not free like in jungles or forests. This make them sad—lions or birds can’t roam or fly much. Also, some zoos only want money from visitors, not care for animals. I saw once a bear in small cage, looking bored, and it didn’t feel good.

But others say zoos are helpful. They protect animals that are rare, like pandas or cheetahs, which can die out in wild. Zoos give them safe place to live and have babies. Also, people learn from zoos—children see animals and understand nature better. My cousin went to zoo and liked it, said he want to save tigers now.

In my view, zoos can be good if they do right thing. They should make big space for animals, not small cages, and focus on saving them, not just show. I think closing all zoos is not best—some animals need help. So, better zoos are answer, not no zoos. What you think about this?
